House prices down 0.2% in May

by admin

According to the Land Registry the 7 month long run of house price increases has been broken by a marginal drop in May 2010.

This puts the average house price in england and Wales at £165,314 with an overall annual rise of 8.2%.

Notes: Land Registry’s House Price Index is the most accurate independent house price index available (albeit a delayed view of the market). Using a data set of all actual completed sales, it is the only index based on repeat sales.
