Bank of England maintain base rate at 0.5%

 As expected by many the BoE’s Monetary Policy Committee have voted to maintain the base rate at 0.5 % and to increase the Asset Purchase Programme by £25 Billion to £200 Billion.

Good news for mortgage borrowers but not so for savers.
